I went for a consultation because I was interested in upper-body liposuction! In the end, I was turned down, though,,, My BMI is around 20 and body fat around 20, and I went in wanting to emphasize my waistline and worried about the back of my arms. Dr. Choi did the pinch test and spoke honestly. He asked about the areas I was worried about, explained what condition those areas are in right now, what kind of effect surgery could realistically have, and whether it would be worth leaving scars for. I liked how honest he was!! If he had just said it was possible and pushed me, I probably would have wanted to do it, but because he was honest, I actually felt more comfortable.
