I had nose surgery 4 years ago, but my bulbous nose did not improve, so I looked into a plastic surgery clinic known for a flashy style and went for a consultation. I consulted with [Doctor A]. First, when you go in, you speak with the manager before seeing the doctor. She lifts the tip of your nose with a cotton swab and says something like, "Is this the kind of result you want?" and explains what surgeries will probably be needed. Then you go meet the doctor. I showed him a photo of the nose shape I wanted, but he did not explain things very clearly and was kind of vague, saying something like, "To get this photo, we’d have to make the silicone higher!" Then I met with the manager again, and she explained everything. What I was told I would need was nostril reduction, donated rib cartilage, nasal bone osteotomy, nose-tip lifting, and replacing the implant with a higher one. I was disappointed that the doctor consultation was shorter than I expected.
