I had surgery about 3 years ago, so honestly my memory is a bit hazy, but anyway I am satisfied! Before the surgery, I was worried about side effects and satisfaction, so I joined a plastic surgery community and looked things up hard, but after I actually had it done, I somehow stopped going in there.. Luckily, it turned out well to the degree I had expected. At the time, I had consultations at at least four other places, and the other hospitals generally recommended both double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. I did not think ptosis correction was something I absolutely needed, and since they said the side effects could be risky, I did not even consider it. For the double eyelids, I was already asking about a brow lift instead because I was worried my image would change too much or it would not suit me, and in fact a person I knew had already had that surgery here and recommended it because they were very satisfied. I ended up having it at [Clinic A], which gave me the most positive response. I do not know how it is now, but back then the clinic had a cozy atmosphere, and both the staff and the director seemed professional without being uncomfortable. I was not doing it primarily to become prettier anyway, but because my eyelids felt too heavy, so I went in knowing there would not be a perfect result. There is a faint scar under the eyebrow, but you have to look closely from near to see it. The discomfort from my previously very heavy eyelids was greatly improved, and aesthetically it also turned out very naturally, so I am satisfied.
