Nose Surgery review at Gaam (가암) · Nose revision surgery · 2023-10-28

I had alar reduction and nasal bridge surgery. I expected them to make me prettier without it looking obvious, but the problem is that the nose reduction is not very noticeable. I wonder if it was worth spending this much, but I decided to be satisfied that I did not end up with a Gangnam-style pretty nose and that there were no side effects. I am going to believe it is because of swelling and wait 6 months. (If I look better, I plan to change my surgery expectation score to 5) I admit the suturing is amazing. I was surprised because the scar is not visible at all. Another plus is that they did not pack my nose with gauze after surgery and did not use a splint, so it was comfortable. -------------------------------------------------------------- Revision review written at 3 weeks I complained that my alar base did not shrink at all, but maybe it was all swelling. I was anxious because there was no splint and no gauze, but is the method different? It seems the swelling comes down really fast. My alar base became completely slim, and the surgery turned out really well without looking obvious. I wrote the earlier review during a bad mental period, so I feel sorry to the doctor and came back to revise my rating. My sibling saw my nose and said they want to go for a consultation too. The price is on the high side, but it really seems tailored to my face and designed in a refined way. There are zero side effects. When I asked whether I would need revision every 10 years because of implant contracture, the doctor joked that I should come back only after 800 years. I really hope that comes true..
