This was the second place I went for a consultation, and because I have both a hump nose and a crooked nose, I consulted with Dr. Bae. At first they analyzed my face, told me what needed to be improved, and roughly explained the type of surgery. But it was the first consultation slot and the vibe was very much like, don't talk to me, just listen. Since I went with my mom, maybe that made them a little less blunt, but still.. haha They gave me absolutely no chance to ask questions, so I eventually had to say, 'I have a few questions,' and ask them. They did answer, but it felt like they were annoyed. After answering, they just repeated the surgery method they had explained at the start and said that would be best. Usually, even if the director has discussed the nose style with the coordinator and the patient says they want a straight line, they don't even ask whether you have reference photos of the nose style you want, and they don't seem curious about it either. If you look at other reviews, Dr. Bae seems to focus a lot on straight-line noses and the nasolabial angle. Still, it feels like they operate safely and they do tell you when something cannot be done. But honestly, with noses, not only is it important that the nose itself turns out well right away, it is also a surgery where side effects can show up late, so it would be nice if they explained that part too, but they didn't really say much about it first. (My crooked nose, hump, low nasolabial angle, and thin skin all seem like bad conditions in terms of side effects after surgery.) After asking a few things I got annoyed too, so I just stopped asking. The doctor was a bit.. The director was very kind, adjusted well to the patient's personality, and the facilities were good.
