I had alar reduction by incision this January, and it's been 10 months now and I'm satisfied. Honestly, once you go in with an incision, there is no way for a scar not to remain. If you don't want a scar, you have to go non-incisional, but non-incisional is not permanent and the effect is not that great, so it feels pointless. I chose incision because I wanted reduction, and since my nostrils were reduced a lot, I'm satisfied. When you consult with the director, I hope you strongly assert how much you want to reduce it. For me, during surgery they showed me a mirror halfway through, and I asked them to reduce it more, so they reduced it further.
