Nose Surgery review at Ijaegyeong (이재경) · 2022-02-19

About 10 years ago, after graduating high school, I heard about it through friends' word of mouth and booked surgery there right after counseling, without consulting anywhere else. My eyes were originally slight double eyelids, but I had a lot of fat on the eyelids, so I had incision + epicanthoplasty. It opened up nicely just as I wanted and has had no problems so far, but I do not recommend the nose. I was timid, and because I thought I might as well do it all at once while I was already having my eyes done, getting it done at the same clinic was the biggest regret of my life. Six months after the nose surgery, even though the swelling had gone down, I felt like my nose was gradually being pulled up, so I went back to the clinic. They said I needed to keep watching the course for now, so I said okay. A year later, with no change, I had surgery for a short upturned nose + alar reduction, but there was not even 1 bit of change (they said they would tie it with thread), and when it was cold the tip of my nose felt slightly chilly and became hard. When I went to the clinic with those symptoms, they said that was just how it was, or that it could happen after nose surgery and would get better with time, and that there was nothing they could do. They said if I wanted revision, I could do it, but from their point of view it looked fine? It was that kind of response. I considered revision surgery too, but they said it was not after-sales service and I would have to pay the full cost. I felt bad, so I never went back after that. Afterward, I was under a huge amount of stress because of my nose, and recently I went to a local ENT clinic and had the silicone removed. Right now my nose is a total mess: short upturned nose + bulbous nose + a dent on the bridge from scar tissue, so I am considering revision surgery.
