I'd already had double eyelid surgery before, and this time I only got the eye corner widening procedure. My eye tails have always been a bit upturned, so people often said I had a harsh look. The back part of my eyes also kept looking cramped, so I decided on dual canthoplasty. During the consultation with the doctor, I said I only wanted the canthoplasty procedure. They said if they widened it too much, it could leave scars or make the eyes look awkward in a D-shape, so they said they would widen it as much as possible without making it stick unnaturally. The doctor understood what I wanted very well and examined my eyes carefully, which I liked. Unlike double eyelid surgery, the swelling was definitely less, but my eyes still felt a little uncomfortable when blinking. After the stitches were removed, it definitely felt better. There is no redness, and the scar is pretty faint at this point, so I think it will be barely visible once more time passes. Based on the current state alone, I'm very satisfied, and I just hope it doesn't reattach.
