This was my first surgery, and the total cost including tax came to 9 million won. My nose was low and slightly wide, but the estimate was way too much. Of course, they included surgery on my philtrum because they said they would make that look pretty too, so that was the price with the philtrum surgery included. If I didn’t do the philtrum surgery, it would have been in the 8 million won range lol They said autologous costal cartilage had to be used, and the surgery time was over 8 hours.... They used ear cartilage, autologous costal cartilage, autologous dermis from behind the ear, and silicone, and there would be four scars in total. I asked them to show me photos of how they take out the autologous costal cartilage, and they harvested a piece about the size of a palm, which was terrifying (I thought they would take only about the size of two fingers). Looking at the photos of harvesting the autologous costal cartilage, I thought, do I really need to go this far just to become prettier...? I recommend everyone see it too lol (ask the counseling manager to show you). And the doctor didn’t even ask me what kind of nose shape I preferred...? He just roughly sketched a design over my nose on something like Paint and told me it would come out like this.... He didn’t ask for the patient’s opinion and was just like, trust what I’m saying.... I asked the counseling manager about side effects, and when they said there were no side effects I was like, huh...?? ?? I wanted to ask about anesthesia because they said the surgery time was long, so I brought up, "Maybe the anesthesia is sedation anesthesia...?" and before I could even finish, they went completely stone-faced and tried to put me down, asking if I even knew anything about anesthesia, so I shut that down by saying I was asking because I didn’t know and was curious lol Ugh, I really think this is a place only for people who have already had revision surgery several times!
