Thanks to the director, my Voldemort nose became a luxury nose. I had nose surgery with septal cartilage 12 years ago, and about 5 years ago, my nose started to lift little by little without any inflammation. Then 1 to 2 years ago, from the front it became a clearly pig-like nose, and from the side it became contracted like Voldemort. I knew how risky revision nose surgery is, so I tried to just live with it if possible, but as time passed the contracture got worse and worse, and it was very distressing. I went to consultations at nearly 10 places, but couldn't find a hospital I trusted. Then I met Director Lee Jun-seong at Trend Plastic Surgery and decided to go ahead with the revision surgery, and I think it was a really good choice. The surgical plan was silicone removal, autologous costal cartilage, ear cartilage, postauricular dermis + lip correction (other hospitals call it nasolabial angle correction or cat surgery. But the director does not like the term nasolabial angle, and I have agreed with that for a long time.) Right now I do not feel even 1% lifted, and the columella is so pretty that I am extremely satisfied. I once saw a review saying that at first the surgery cost at Trend Plastic Surgery feels expensive, but after going through the surgery and aftercare, it becomes understandable, and that they even felt they should pay more. My heart at day 19 after surgery is exactly that heart... Since the director does not charge more, I am writing this review out of gratitude instead. (Before my consultation and surgery too, I wondered why there were so many surgery reviews praising the director here, and why people were writing such long, detailed reviews voluntarily, not as part of a discount event. But now I understand it so well. The nose has become so, so pretty that even 17 million won plus the 3D CT scan fee and medication do not feel wasted, because they provide nearly perfect surgery and aftercare. As you can see from my previous review, I visited 10 hospitals during one month in November and ultimately had surgery here at the end of the year.) Seeing the recent consultation reviews on this community left me very heartbroken. I was going to refrain from posting because I worried that if consultations and surgeries increased too much, the director would be overworked, but I am writing because the posts that misunderstand the director hurt me. (My surgery took 13 hours, and even in the middle of the night after surgery, the director was beside my bed taking short naps while watching over me, and the next day I was discharged after morning treatment, rest, afternoon treatment, and rest.) The director is not a merchant but a true doctor. (That is how my mother described him when she accompanied me as my guardian on the day of surgery.) That is why he can be blunt and strong before surgery for the patient's sake. If he wanted to make money like other hospitals, he would just say sweet things and operate according to the patient's wishes. From the very beginning, the director's philosophy and surgical method matched me perfectly, so I decided on surgery right away. (And I could really feel his sincerity about noses during the 2 hour 30 minute consultation. I felt confident that I could trust him with my nose and with more than 10 hours of general anesthesia.) However, if someone has a different opinion from the director, please do not insist on your own view and be sure to trust and follow the director's opinion. His expertise, aesthetic sense, and care for my nose are truly the strongest in the universe. Up until day 14 after surgery, I went to the hospital every day to check the progress except for exactly 3 days, including Sundays and holidays, and the director personally handled all the treatments. Now I go once every 5 days. He does everything himself, even inserting the injection needle, without asking the nurse to do it. So the kind of post-surgery mental distress that people often talk about in plastic surgery doesn't happen. The director not only checks the nose every day, but at first he also calls me personally every day.. (Even before surgery, he called me on his personal phone to explain various precautions.) When he came in on a Sunday to treat me and I thanked him so much, he replied that he was not volunteering for free, so why was I thanking him so much, and that it was only natural. Seeing that, I deeply felt what a sense of professional duty means. So many hospitals do not treat such things as natural... Even while accepting bad reviews, the director insists on what he believes is right for the patient, even with blunt words, and takes nearly complete responsibility for the surgery and aftercare. (I want to use the word 'perfect,' but I said 'nearly perfect' because I did not want to cause trouble due to the director's careful personality. The director does not like expressions like 'last surgery' or 'did my best.' For example, he thinks the phrase 'an athlete did their best' should only be used when the athlete dies after the event is over. My writing is lacking, so my wording may be clumsy, but I hope my respect for the director's sense of responsibility and careful personality comes through without being distorted.) Lastly, the director and the nurses were also very kind, and I am truly grateful. I thank the consultation director for supporting me every time when I could hardly get up by myself because of autologous costal cartilage pain the day after surgery, the nurse who wiped my ears with wet wipes because alcohol swabs could make the skin sensitive, the nurse who came out on Sunday to treat me and kindly explain precautions, and the teacher who came with me in the cold weather on the morning of surgery to do an additional ECG test, and so on.) I am ending this in the hope that it helps people who, like me, are suffering from contracture and complications. I have so much more to say, but I will leave another review next time. Everyone, keep your nose surgery safe! (The hospital's current official name is Fillup Trend Plastic Surgery, but I still see many reviews under the old name, so I am posting it here too.)
