The director looked from the glabella all the way to the tip of my nose and recommended a custom silicone implant with a line adjusted to match the height of my nasal bridge. He explained that instead of inserting a fixed shape like regular silicone, it can be custom-made to match the height of my glabella, which would help reduce the feeling that only the starting point looks unusually high. He also said that because of my skin thickness, if the silicone is placed too high it will look obvious, so for the nasal bridge area, custom silicone and postauricular dermis would be better. Since it’s revision surgery and there would be various materials involved, I was a little worried at first, but because he explained one by one where each material goes and why it is needed, it was actually easier to understand, and I liked that he looked at things as detailed as skin thickness too!
