I went to [Clinic A] for a consultation while looking into rhinoplasty. It is such a famous and popular place for nose surgery that it was hard to get a consultation booking right away, so I waited almost five months before finally going. I had high expectations because I had waited so long, and after the actual consultation, I understood a little better why appointments take so long. First of all, I had been to consultations at several places, but personally this one felt the most professional. The director did not just explain the condition of my nose in words, but drew directly on an actual photo of my nose to show me which parts I should look at and how, so it was much easier to understand. Whenever I asked about something I was curious about, they explained it to me in detail one by one, and I also liked that they did not say things in a way that unconditionally promised I would look prettier after surgery. In particular, I went in wanting rhinoplasty, but I was actually told that in my case surgery was not really recommended, which surprised me a bit. I thought that when you go to a consultation, they would find even a small area to improve and recommend surgery, but they explained that there was nothing seriously wrong with my current nose and that if I had surgery, there would also be things I would have to accept and take on in return. While visiting different clinics, there were parts that felt a bit like unnecessary treatment, but here I hardly got that feeling at all, and in fact I trusted them because they honestly told me that I did not have to have surgery. The five-month wait did not feel wasted, and even if I do not decide on surgery right away, I think people who are worrying about rhinoplasty would find it helpful to get a consultation here once. I decided not to have surgery this time, but the consultation itself was the most satisfying for me personally.
