I had a nose with a bulbous tip, and from the very first consultation with the director, it felt so good. Unlike other doctors who seemed rushed and wanted to get moving because of time, I think we talked for almost 40 minutes just in consultationㅠㅠ And the surgical plan felt like the perfect fit for me, so I decided I wanted to do it here! This director seems really good at columella lengthening and defining the nasal tip. During surgery, they told me to choose between only sedation and a mix of local anesthesia + sedation, and I was actually more scared of doing only sedation, so I chose the mixed option. It was one surgeon anyway, so I wasn’t worried about a surrogate surgery, but I was still anxious, and I think I made the right choice. If you’re someone who gets nervous, I think doing it under sedation only would also be a good optionㅎㅎ At first my nose was blocked and it was so uncomfortable, but now I’m doing well without any discomfort!
