I went in for revision rhinoplasty. I asked them to shave down the hump a bit and do osteotomy to lift the drooping nasal tip. Right after the surgery, my nose bent badly, the silicone shifted to one side, and the bridge area swelled up and inflammation developed. Two months later when they took the silicone out, they had ground my nose down like crazy; it wasn't an osteotomy, they had basically fractured and destroyed my nose. That's why one side of the nasal bone is crooked, so the silicone shifted to one side. This was the most shocking thing I've ever experienced in my life, and I was mentally hurt so badly. The bent alar cartilage was properly removed at another hospital. It's irreparable, and if I could go back to that time, I'd bet everything I had.
