It’s been 12 days since I had my nose surgery here. I live in the countryside, so I couldn’t research much and ended up doing same-day consultation plus surgery. At the time, it was during an event for 1 million won for first surgery, and now I can see the event price has gone up. I wouldn’t say the staff were especially kind, but they weren’t rude either. The clinic was small. The reasons I chose this clinic among the ones I liked after reading reviews were: 1. One surgeon only, 2. filler removal during surgery, 3. same-day consultation and surgery available I wanted a flashy look, so if cadaver rib cartilage or autologous costal cartilage had been necessary, I was prepared to use them even for my first surgery. It wasn’t a long consultation, but after looking at the CT, they pointed out exactly the problems I had thought of. They said there was no problem with the septum on the CT, but that it wasn’t especially large or small, and first they would open it up and, if it wasn’t good, use cadaver rib cartilage, so I went into surgery. At that moment I briefly thought, I don’t know whether they actually used cadaver rib cartilage... aren’t they just definitely going to say they used it? I had that thought for a moment.. lol After the surgery, it turned out they used silicone + ear cartilage + septum + covering the nasal tip with dermis from the buttocks. They also said they might use both sides of the ear cartilage, but they only used one side. That made me trust them a bit more. They did not recommend any other surgery or procedures to me at all. They did osteotomy too, so I bruised and swelled up like crazy, but after the splint came off, the swelling is steadily going down, and right now the tip of my nose is very sharp, but I like it. Since the nasal tip is supposed to come down a bit anyway. Overall, there was nothing I was dissatisfied with. There is still a lot of bruising and swelling between the eyebrows, but I hope it goes down soon…
