A really long time ago, I had a revision double-eyelid surgery, inner corner surgery, and an incision for ptosis correction. The two sides became asymmetric. I know that everyone has asymmetry, so it's unavoidable for double-eyelid lines or inner-corner surgery to end up different on each side. Still, when I open my eyes, the lines themselves look fine, and the inner corner surgery came out well without being excessive, matching my eyes. But the problem is that the ptosis correction worked well on one side and lifted it properly, while the other side didn't lift as much. So one eye opens a bit less, and if I lower my gaze even slightly, it becomes completely mismatched and one pupil gets covered. I called to ask, and they said it might be swelling, so I should watch it for a few months, and I agreed. And I've been living with that state for 16 years now, I think. I was very young then, and I was too busy at the time, so I couldn't even think about going back for aftercare, but now I think I should have gone back after six months or a year to ask for revision. But in my memory, the reason I couldn't do that was that I had a feeling they wouldn't really do anything. Anyway, the double-eyelid surgery and inner corner surgery themselves turned out a bit flashy but still naturally well. But now that I'm entering my 40s, the one-sided drooping from the ptosis correction has started to bother me a lot. Even the way I look has become more and more uneven as the strength to open my eyes differs on each side, so my expressions look awkward and sometimes a bit strange, and I also have pain from various functional problems, so I think I need to get ptosis revision surgery soon.
