I had it done together with rhinoplasty 3 years ago, and my square jaw was really severe, so I had a strong masculine and Western-looking image. That said, it wasn’t shaved down completely flat, so after surgery the line became natural and softer, but I don’t feel there was a particularly dramatic change. Still, I think I’m glad I did it. At the time of surgery, my nostrils were blocked with cotton because of the nose surgery, and as post-care after general anesthesia I had to keep my mouth open, so my jaw felt stuffy and my nose felt stuffy too. It was honestly unbearable, but looking back, I feel like I’m glad I did both at that time.
