I had an incisional double eyelid surgery a long time ago, but I’m not sure if the front part came undone or loosened. My eye shape changed a little and became rounder, I guess.. I heard natural adhesion and non-incisional buried suture are possible, so I’m thinking of just slightly touching up the line. I’ve narrowed it down to the final clinics. I like a natural and innocent-looking vibe. Like NewJeans Minji or Go Min-si? 1. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ Director Kang = natural adhesion + epicanthoplasty I went here for two consultations, and the director is pretty honest. After looking at my eyes, he said they’re not eyes that necessarily need revision surgery. He said something like, maybe my expectations for surgery are high? The consultant also said that if these were her eyes, she’d just live with them, so I wondered if I came to the wrong place... but they still gave me a good consultation. He said it would be a waste to do incisional surgery, so he recommended natural adhesion. Since the line on my right eye is lower than the left, he suggested matching the lines, fixing the left line once as it is, and said epicanthoplasty is optional but recommended. He said if I don’t do epicanthoplasty, there won’t be a big difference from now. 2. ㅈㅅㅌ Director Kang = buried suture + epicanthoplasty This doctor also recommended buried suture + canthoplasty. For the line, he said to fix the left side as it is and raise the right line a little to match it similarly to the left. I went for a consultation because he also seemed to like a natural look, and he really examined my eyes thoroughly. It felt like he looked only at my eyes for 5 minutes; He clearly understood and explained things like my eye structure and the problems with my eyes. The consultant asked if just doing canthoplasty on my eyes wouldn’t be enough, but he said they were slightly on the verge of coming undone, so they needed to be fixed again.
After seeing both places, I’m torn because the look they pursue seems similar to what I want. Honestly, I didn’t expect much from ㅈㅅㅌ, but he examined my eyes really thoroughly, and I do like the review photos. But he doesn’t have that many years of experience, and he’s a doctor who hasn’t been at ㅈㅅㅌ for very long, so I’m a bit worriedㅠㅠ For ㅈㅇㅈㅇ, the review photos and the line he made for me weren’t exactly my favorite, but communication with the director was good, so I got the feeling he could match the direction I want? My head hurts so much. Are there any members who got it done at either of these two places?? And is it possible to do epicanthoplasty on only one side??
