Before/after This is my review on day 30 after medial epicanthoplasty restoration surgery, which I had been thinking about for a long time^^
Over 10 years ago, I had a very slight medial epicanthoplasty. I only wanted it to look a little more opened without much change in eye size, but maybe it was not the right type for me, because it only ended up making the area near the lacrimal caruncle look very exposed. The sizes of my two eyes also became slightly uneven, and my double eyelids seemed less defined, so I decided to have surgery.
I had already decided on this plastic surgery clinic from when I was looking into it seriously a few years ago. There were many things I liked, such as a single director system, many surgical cases, and careful postoperative care. With COVID and other things overlapping, I kept postponing the surgery, then had it before the Chuseok holiday.
Since it was done as a micro-restoration, the scar was not large, and there were only a few stitches, so on the day the stitches were removed, they took them out one by one without pain, which was nice.
I am still recovering, so the skin at the surgical site is hard and slightly swollen, but in the case of my left eye, it has healed almost unnoticeably. My right eye has a slight surgical mark, a white scar, and a little redness, but I go around with regenerative tape on, so it does not bother me much^^
They said I need to watch it for 6 months for it to heal completely, so I hope it heals well until then!
