First of all, it has been a long time since I had it done, so I’m not sure where to start, but ever since I was young, my nostril wings were especially wide, so I had a lot of concerns, and I didn’t want to put in any foreign material? so I decided on alar reduction.
The price was reasonable too, and my tip is to reduce less than what the doctor recommends… I really wanted it to look natural.
I reduced it by 2 mm, and up until now I was fairly satisfied. The photo shows what I’ve been concerned about lately, and the shape of my nostril wings looks a bit odd too.. But once the alar shape changes, it really can’t be reversed.
I’ve been wanting to get my nose done these days, but my nostril wings have become too small, so I feel like if I raise the bridge, it would look really strange..
If I could go back, I don’t think I’d do it. Maybe just raising the nose could look more natural? If you’re in your very early 20s.. once you reach your mid-20s, your face changes (I’m currently 29). The shape of your nose changes too. Compared with when I had alar reduction, my nose developed more contours.. So that’s why I want to get my nose done these days, but my alar shape is already unnatural, and I also don’t want to just leave it as it is..
Please think carefully while considering many possibilities, and I hope this post helps..
(+ From what I remember, the shape of my right nostril wing looked a bit torn at the end, so I visited the clinic after 1 year, and I remember the doctor being kind of rude. Saying things like it can’t be helped, people won’t notice unless I say something, so why am I worrying about it, etc. Things were a bit different before and after paying.. Still, I admit they did make it look natural? Looking at other alar reduction reviews, they were so.. unnatural. I don’t know what courage I had to think of cutting away flesh.)
