I had revision surgery 13 years ago, and this hospital put in L-shaped silicone without me knowing.. I seriously feel like cursing them out I found out belatedly that it was a place famous for being factory-like, and it was a hospital I learned about because of a friend, but I’m at the point where I even resent that friend
I found out about this material today after going for a consultation and getting a CT scan After hearing that a second revision surgery would be more difficult than expected, I’m now mentally breaking down + extremely pissed off
Because it’s L-shaped silicone, they said that if it’s removed, I’ll need septal extension because of the nasal tip that has been compressed all this time They said that if it’s done only with columellar support without septal extension, my nasal tip would become even blunter than it was before the current surgery
But I’ve heard so many bad things about septal extension that I don’t want to do extension
Is there really no other way?
