My preferred consultation style: I think the consultation manager should only relay information. I think the person with the specialized knowledge to operate on my eyes is the doctor, so I dislike it when the consultation manager adds their own comments. When I go to internal medicine, it would be strange for a staff member to hear my symptoms and judge them, but in plastic surgery it somehow feels normal for staff to look at your eye line and say this and that. I cannot understand how some people think it is rude for the consultation manager not to say those things and even say it does not seem professional.
Some places explained whether tissue excision was needed even for the same double line, while others did not, so I noted the places that explained it. I do not know whether the places that did not explain it also needed excision.
13. ㅇㅈ In-out (recommended) incision In-line double-fold creation Pre-consultation was only about surgical history. It had the longest consultation time among the consultations I received, and it was detailed and not bad, but I wrote down so little that even I wonder why I did not note more or remember much.

The chart says ok, and they did not recommend surgery. They said the line was not high at this point and had settled naturally over time. They said that after about 5 more years, the skin would come down further and the line would become thinner. Still, I asked them to please look once more and showed the photo I wanted, and they said the photo was a complete in-line and that if I also did eye makeup, it would look different, but my eyes still look like an out-line even with makeup, so the more consultations I went to, the more I felt confused. They said touching it further here would be like burning down a whole house to catch a rat.
15. ㅇㄷ Double-fold creation + ptosis correction Photo taken, then consultation They asked about parts I did not want and the direction I wanted, and explained it. In revision surgery, the ptosis correction is because of adhesions. The existing line was high at 12 mm, and because the adhesion had weakened, the line could look even higher. While making a new line, they would excise a small amount between the new line and the existing line. Including scar tissue, they explained with anatomical structures that the amount would be too large.
16. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ (Forehead lift/Botox) + double-fold creation + fat repositioning downward They repeatedly asked me to open and close my eyes to check whether I use my forehead. Because the space between the eyes and eyebrows is narrow, the eye-opening strength is sufficient, but I have a habit of using my forehead, so a forehead lift is needed to correct the root problem. When I said, "So you never considered a lift?" they said yes, and that Botox could be used instead to help me build the habit of not using my forehead, and that after one Botox injection the correction rate is about half and half. (=Try it once, thank you if it works; if not, you have to get it again) The line is high and the scarring is not very prominent (=not strongly fixed), so the line does not start from the inner corner of the eye and does not continue all the way through, leaving only the middle part as a strong double eyelid. It is an overlaid shape. They said they would move the fat from the upper eyelid area to prevent adhesions, but this was the first clinic where they separately charged for that part. Even if the scar tissue is excised, in-out / in-line is impossible. It will come out as a semi-out.
17. ㄱㅎㅅ Double-fold creation + ptosis correction Saw the doctor directly without a consultation manager In-out is impossible. It has to be in-line. They said the front corner would become thin, somewhere between in-out and in-side. When I asked whether the eye-opening strength was insufficient, they said ptosis correction was needed for that as well. They did not press on my forehead to check.

I passed because the consultation and surgery were scheduled at the same time and there were many people waiting.

I had a 3:00 appointment and went exactly on time, but during the manager consultation they said the doctor had just gone into surgery and that there would be a 1-hour wait. At 4:20 PM, when I asked how much longer I had to wait, they said I would have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes, so I just left. I passed because the consultation and surgery were scheduled at the same time and there were many people waiting.
23. ㅁㅊㅍ Incision Pre-consultation was only about previous surgical history. Before I mentioned the line I wanted, they asked whether it would be okay that the line would be lower than before during surgery. Before I stated the direction I wanted, the line they first drew was a thin in-out, so I thought they seemed to like natural-looking results. The in-out line they drew was naturally pretty. It is in my top 3, so I am still thinking about it.
*Re-consultation What I asked: 1. Amount of excision 2. Even now, when I look at it closely in the mirror, the double eyelid does not seem to be loosening, so I wondered whether the line they drew would also only look thin when viewed up close They asked me, "What did I tell you to do last time?" so I was first taken aback. I looked at the line with my glasses on from about 40 to 50 cm away in the mirror, and it was different from last time, so I was secondarily taken aback. When I asked, "Does the line come out like this?" they told me to compare thickness only, but the line was so different from last time that I wondered whether drawing it while I was wearing glasses caused them not to get it right. When I said it was not this kind of line last time, they said that last time it had been a line drawn on the premise of doing double-fold creation (estimate: excision). They said they would draw the in-out line that was possible with excision a few more times, and then the manager would come in and explain. The manager said that because each clinic has a different opinion, I should go to other consultations and decide, and that the doctor said they would not perform the surgery, so they could not do a re-consultation. They said that once a person decides not to have surgery, they do not get another consultation, and that they hope I find the right clinic. I do not know why they refused the surgery. Since the refusal was conveyed through the manager, I also could not know what range of adjustment was possible. I felt a bit wronged about paying the 5,000-won re-consultation fee.

26. ㄴㅅㅎ Incision + ptosis correction Dr. ㅅㅇㅇ During the pre-consultation, they asked about medical history, surgical history, the direction I wanted, and what I did not want. They explained the surgical method in very detailed terms. There was enough excess skin, so incision surgery was possible. The criteria for in-out differ from person to person, and there are various types of lines, so in-out does not refer to one fixed line. Even for the same in-out, they explained how the line changes when excising 3 mm versus 5 mm, and how the surgical method changes. If you choose this place for your first consultation, it will help a lot with later consultations. If you are planning consultations, I recommend starting with ㅅㅇㅇ. Because it involves excising elastic skin, even with 3 mm excision, the amount cut can differ by doctor, but this doctor tends to cut less. The reason for ptosis correction is to lower the line more effectively. Without ptosis correction, it may not come down as much as desired. Here too, I tried drawing the line while wearing glasses, but the shape did not come out properly, so the line I drew at ㅁㅊㅍ while wearing glasses makes sense.

I had a bad experience after doing it at ㄱㄹㄷ, so my favorability dropped a lot. They drew the line on both eyes many times. They kept adjusting it until I was satisfied. It was the first clinic I visited that adjusted the line this much. They said the left eye has weaker eye-opening strength.
