My older sister got double eyelid surgery here about 10 years ago and it turned out pretty well, so I followed her and got it done too, but mine was a disaster. The double eyelids were just so-so, and they loosened up, so I had revision surgery with an incision method. The important thing is: absolutely do not get your epicanthoplasty done here. The shape is uneven and they cut too aggressively, exposing the caruncle, so it looks really fierce, and the scar remains as a scar. I’m looking into epicanthoplasty revision, but it costs much more, and even after revision it doesn’t go back to how it was before. I wasn’t even planning to have epicanthoplasty, but they recommended doing it together because it would look prettier, and once a scar appeared, they acted like it was none of their business and said they’d do laser treatment. Even if I generously accept that my skin heals poorly, looking at the epicanthoplasty shape itself, I feel like I should never have had epicanthoplasty in the first place.
