If side effects like inflammation or contracture occur from nasal silicone, a lot of people seem to remove the silicone and get revision surgery with autologous rib cartilage. Since autologous rib cartilage is from your own body, I understand that it would cause less inflammatory reaction than silicone, but it’s not like inflammation or contracture can never happen just because it’s autologous rib cartilage, right??ㅠ Still, is the chance of those reactions not happening with autologous rib cartilage much higher by a noticeable difference compared to silicone?? If any of you know well, please answer..
