They were supposed to use costal cartilage + septal cartilage + ear cartilage, but after the surgery was over, they hadn’t used the ear cartilage. At first, I thought it was fine because my ear didn’t hurt. I think the clinic said they didn’t use it because my nose lifted enough even without ear cartilage. But I think the ear cartilage was supposed to be used to make the nasal tip softer. When I kiss my boyfriend, my nose is hard, so he flinches.. My ex-boyfriend also said my nose was hard.. It’s been over two and a half years since the surgery, so I wonder if it’s too late to talk about it now.. For people who used ear cartilage, how is your nasal tip?
