Both of my first two nose surgeries failed, so I had a third revision rhinoplasty. After the first surgery, my nose looked crooked and pinched, but even after revision rhinoplasty, it became crooked again.. I even developed a septal perforation, so it felt hopeless. After hearing the finding of a perforation at the ENT clinic, I felt really lost. This time, while getting revision rhinoplasty at a clinic, everything was rebuilt using autologous costal cartilage. The director is an ENT specialist, so he also did septal reconstruction and perforation correction together. I also had nasal valve widening, nasal tip extension, and nostril lowering, and because my skin is thin, he said he would reinforce it as much as possible to reduce any show-through. For the nostril lowering, I had both ear cartilage grafting and skin grafting. The scope of the revision rhinoplasty was broad, so the surgery took quite a while, but after it was over, the director explained my condition in detail. Before the revision rhinoplasty, I was stressed because my nose looked upturned and pinched, but the nostrils came out with a pleasantly rounded shape, exactly the feeling I wanted. The crooked nose was also corrected, so it looks straight even from the front. There is no foreign-body sensation when I touch it, and the line is settling naturally. There is still some swelling left, but I can see it going down day by day, so I’m looking forward to it. I’m posting my progress so everyone who is considering it can use it as a reference.
