Nose Surgery Reviews

Autologous costal cartilage revision rhinoplasty, 3 months... It feels stable now, so I’m writing a review (feat. escaped the droopy arrow-shaped nose)

My first rhinoplasty failed, so the nasal tip kept drooping and looked like an arrow-shaped nose. I wondered if this was really a nose that had undergone rhinoplasty, and it didn’t look pretty, so I looked into revision rhinoplasty. Thinking this would be my last surgery, I went around to consultations and had surgery at a plastic surgery clinic. Director Kim Hyun-woo looked at the structure of my nose and pinpointed exactly why it had drooped. He gave me confidence that this time, we needed to use autologous costal cartilage to build a firm support strut so it wouldn’t droop, so I trusted him and decided. Silicone was used for the nasal bridge, autologous costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip, and arrow-shaped nose correction was done together. I hated the arrow-shaped nose so much, so I told him I wanted the nasal tip lifted, but asked him to be careful so that my nostrils wouldn’t show too much. What’s really amazing is that even though I only had my nose done, my overall impression changed completely. This was the look I wanted I also keep thinking, why did my first surgery fail, and maybe I should have gone to Director Kim Hyun-woo sooner Anyway, these days I hear so often that I’ve gotten prettier and look more sophisticated, so I’m happy. Once the nasal tip that used to look long was properly supported, my impression looks much more refined. It was my first time using autologous costal cartilage, so I was really worried about pain too, but it was just sore for a few days more than I expected, and then it got better quickly. Now that 3 months have passed, I have zero discomfort. If anything, because it’s my own cartilage rather than donated costal cartilage, I feel much more at ease. Now all the major swelling has gone down, and it feels like everything has completely settled into place. The nasal tip is being maintained firmly without drooping, so I feel good every time I look in the mirror.
