I’ve only had a consultation so far, and I’m still deciding which hospital to have it done at. The downside is that you can only consult with the manager, and they said you can’t consult with the director. I don’t really understand that, but.. I’m deciding between this place and a numbered hospital, and this place seems to offer a bit more aftercare, so I’m thinking about a lot of things. The consultation manager felt less like a specialist and more like an aunt from the neighborhood you know… It didn’t feel extremely friendly. They mixed in casual speech here and there too. Still, it would be fine as long as the surgery turns out well, but you don’t actually consult with the doctor, and if you get their custom-made compression garment, it costs around 200,000-300,000 won.
