It was my first surgery, and I went just trusting the threads here lol... ha... I should have looked up reviews in this community beforehand lol..;;; It’s been over 6 months, I had surgery last October, and now I’m going around looking into revision surgery. For reference, they said AS isn’t possible unless it’s saddle nose lol My nose is gradually becoming crooked from the front too, the hump area has developed a step-off because the nasal tip got lower, and the columella is also crooked. Is this really normal..? lol
My surgery goals were: 1. Getting rid of my hump nose 2. Improving the crookedness of my nose from the front, etc.
But I ended up with a different kind of hump nose!!!!!!!!! Shagal!!!!!
Things I’m dissatisfied with, by my standards: 1. A step-off appeared at a 45-degree angle too (see photo) 2. The crookedness wasn’t improved either (see photo) 3. The surgical method was changed, but they didn’t inform me 4. My nose got so freaking long... 5. Crooked columella (see photo)
A total mess. Functionally, it goes without saying... I can’t breathe through one side of my nose.. I got a new CT taken at another hospital and an ENT clinic, and they said my septum is deviated The ENT doctor gave a hollow laugh after seeing the condition of my nose.
Looking at other people’s posts and comments, everyone seems to have developed a step-off or asymmetry... Should I comfort myself by thinking I’m not the only one like this..;; I’m distressed.
Everyone, think carefully and decide. I’m posting this hoping my review will help. I’m starting revision surgery consultations next week, so I’ll post an additional review...
And the legendary part is..;;; ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They suddenly called me out of nowhere and the manager asked right away whether I had written a review in this community, saying they would take legal action lol It was my first time seeing a hospital call a patient in a threatening tone They said something about handing it over to investigative authorities or whatever I’m checking with this community about whether there are any legal issues, but still, I wrote an honest review. This review is my personal, subjective review of what I experienced and felt, so please keep that in mind.
