I had my nose done once about 5-6 years ago, and at first it was okay, you know? But as time passed, it gradually felt like it was being absorbed, then the nasal tip lost support and the whole nose drooped downward, even creating a hump-like look…ㅠㅠ I was seriously stressed every time I saw my side profileㅠ Especially the dropped nasal tip was the worst, and it also made my impression look a bit dull, so I decided on revision surgery...
This time, I really wanted to do it properly, so I looked into a lot of clinics. What I wanted was a defined straight-to-soft-curved line that wasn’t too much? A natural but clearly defined nose with an elegant look.
Then an acquaintance had hers done at a clinic and it turned out so well that I went for a consultation. During the consultation, they explained in a way that was easy to understand why autologous costal cartilage was needed, since my nasal skin was on the thinner side, my nasal tip was drooping, and I also had a bulbous nose look. They explained what parts of my nose required which materials, so I trusted them, and it didn’t feel like they were pushing anything excessively, so I scheduled the surgery that same day.
Because it was autologous costal cartilage, honestly, it hurt a bit in the beginning. Especially the rib area was uncomfortable for a few days, but it wasn’t unbearable like I had expected, and after some time it got better quickly.
Anyway, I’m extremely satisfied now. The nasal tip has been firmly restored, and the line came out exactly as the straight-to-soft-curved line I wanted, so I feel good every time I see my side profileㅋㅋ I don’t have that drooping feeling like before, and I’m also hearing a lot that I look more refined overallㅎ
The saying that revision surgery requires even more caution than a first surgery is completely trueㅇㅇ That’s how important the clinic is, but choosing the director is seriously important too, so for everyone here whose nasal tip droops over time or whose line collapses like mine, I recommend looking into various clinics, getting recommendations from acquaintances, and choosing a place that properly explains your nose condition.
