After my first double eyelid surgery, over time I felt like the line was coming down overall, and as the line near the inner corner gradually became buried, my eyes looked a bit stuffy. It wasn’t severe, but I did have a slight epicanthal fold, so the front looked even more closed off. I wanted to improve it naturally but more clearly, so I looked into revision surgery. I went to consultations at several places, but I ruled out clinics that opened the corners too much or made the line too thick. During the consultation, they explained a plan to reset the line with natural adhesion and do medial canthoplasty, upper canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty together. The line design was the most balanced, and it felt like they adjusted it without going overboard, so I had it done there. The surgery ended quickly, and even though I went alone, there weren’t any major problems. At first there was quite a bit of swelling, but after 2-3 days it started to go down, and around week 1 the line started to show. By week 2, most of the major swelling was gone, and after that it gradually became more natural. I’m most satisfied that the line is visible again as the inner corner opened up. The stuffy-looking feeling has also decreased a lot, and my eyes look horizontally longer than before. It’s a semi-out line, but it isn’t excessive, so it doesn’t look too obviously surgical. Since it was revision surgery, I thought about it a lot, but overall I’m satisfied with the result. For people who want a natural improvement, I recommend going to consultations at several places before deciding.
