Eye Surgery Reviews

Upper and lower eyelid surgery done at once. If you’re worried about recovery, everyone, read this

It’s been 4 months since my dad had upper and lower eyelid surgery done at the same time. How does it look? My dad is in his 60s, and before surgery, his eyelids were severely drooping, so his eyes were covered. His under-eyes were also bulging out,, they were eyes with that kind of aging. When we were looking into surgery, we made natural results the top priority, and my dad agreed too. He said that if it was done too excessively and didn’t suit his age, it would look strange, so he definitely wanted it done naturally. Right after surgery, honestly, I was a bit shocked. There was swelling and the bruising was severe, so for the first few days I couldn’t help but worry. I had taken photos, and I wondered if it was okay to upload them,,, but after thinking about it, I’m uploading them,,, hahaha The area around his eyes turned purple and yellow, and because of the swelling, his eye shape looked awkward. Then, after about 2 weeks, the bruising started fading quickly. Up until weeks 1 and 2, there was quite a bit of bruising and swelling, but after that, only slight bruising remained and it went down steadily. Still, it hadn’t settled naturally yet. Even at the 1-month mark, it still felt like some awkward swelling remained. And now it’s been 4 months. How does it look? It definitely seems to have settled a lot compared to the beginning, right?? It’s not like his eyes changed into a completely different person’s eyes; they improved well in a natural way. My dad also opens his eyes more comfortably than before, and now that the drooping eyelids are gone, he looks sharper. My dad is in his 60s though lol After upper and lower eyelid surgery, in the early period, in the early period I was quite worried because of the bruising and swelling, but after waiting until 4 months, it looks like it settled really nicely. I guess this is why, for middle-aged eye surgery, you need to look at the recovery period as being a bit longer,,, If anyone here is considering eye surgery for their mom or dad, choosing the hospital and doctor well matters too, but I think waiting in the early period is also important. My dad worked hard too, sending me selfies on schedule so I could check the progress, and I also had a bit of emotional stress, but I think it was good that we waited. This is my first review, so it’s a bit disorganized, but if you have any questions, I’ll answer as much as I know haha
