Is everyone doing well? I’m someone who developed inflammation around the silicone just 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I urgently had open irrigation and silicone removal... My columella looked tilted and my nostrils looked uneven, so I posted about it before. Now that it’s been over 2 weeks since the silicone was removed, I feel like I’m slowly becoming able to look past it a little First, I’m posting photos because I thought there might be people who are curious.
I had open rhinoplasty, then just 2 weeks later had it reopened again for silicone removal and open irrigation, so maybe that’s why after the removal it swelled a lot and the lifted-up feeling was severe. From the front, my nose felt a bit shrunken, like my nostrils showed a lot?
It’s not like my nostrils don’t show at all now, but I feel like it has lessened a bit, and even in photos, it seems like the nostril show from the side has decreased somewhat.
And the area where the nasal bridge connects to the nasal ala is still extremely swollen and feels very firm. The swelling is worse on the right than the left, so from the front, the right ala side looks puffier,,,
And the tilted columella still looks pretty severe, but the hospital said this part was because they intentionally lowered it a lot due to the columellar lowering procedure, so I’ll trust them and wait. I’ll gradually come back with more reviews!!
