Revision for a Contracted Nose Is Finally Done.

Revision surgery for my contracted nose is finally over. About 17 years ago, I had nose surgery at another clinic and developed contraction, which was a huge worry for me. I finally decided I really needed revision surgery, and while looking into it I came across Rowell Plastic Surgery. I found it through an app, and as I read reviews about nose revision, nose reconstruction, and contracted noses, it seemed like they had operated on many revision cases like mine, so I decided to have surgery at Rowell. Of course, I also consulted at other clinics, but the consultation with Dr. Kim Jae-yoon felt trustworthy. He said that if they made it a little lower than the current height, the nose tip would come down, and that to fit the silicone precisely to the bone, it would be better to use a 3D custom implant. Because the tip had contracted once already, they decided to use autologous costal cartilage and fix the tip four times to improve the crooked nose and the upturned tip. He explained everything in detail, which made me trust him. The implant used was Inofit. Since it was revision surgery, I thought it would cost a lot, but as the review had said, excluding the custom implant, there were no extra charges and it was exactly the revision surgery fee listed, which I appreciated. Now it has already been about 9 months since my revision nose surgery. The most common thing I’ve heard after the surgery is that it turned out naturally well. Before surgery, I was worried a lot about whether it would look obvious or awkward, but those worries were unnecessary. When people around me noticed it first and complimented it, I could tell the result came out well. What I liked especially was that it did not look overly high or artificial, but changed naturally to suit my whole face. Just changing the nose made my expression look much clearer and neater, people told me. Before, I paid a lot of attention to angles when taking photos, but now they come out satisfying even without worrying too much, and I really like that too. The recovery process was not as hard as I expected, and as time passed, I could feel the swelling going down and the result becoming even more natural. At first it felt a little awkward, but now it has settled in completely like my own face, so I’m much more satisfied. Most importantly, there is no obvious sign that I had surgery, and I think that is the biggest advantage. People around me say I look prettier, but almost no one directly recognizes it as nose surgery, which makes me even more satisfied. Overall, the result, the natural look, and the satisfaction all exceeded my expectations, and for anyone considering nose surgery, I’d say that if you choose the clinic carefully, it can absolutely be a satisfying choice.
