In my previous rhinoplasty, the nasal tip became too narrow, so it was very obvious that I’d had nose surgery, and people around me mentioned it a lot! Also, maybe because my nose looked long, I was often told that my midface looked long. The plastic surgery clinic was where an acquaintance of mine had rhinoplasty, and the result turned out well, so I made an appointment too and had a consultation with Director Kim Hyun-joo. We communicated really well, and I felt like she would be able to correct the shortcomings I had, so I decided to have revision surgery at that clinic! I had my nose redone with autologous costal cartilage, and honestly, from right after surgery until before the nasal packing was removed, it was really hard. After the packing was removed, it was okay. The area where the costal cartilage was harvested hurt a lot until days 3-4, and after that it was okay. To my eyes, my nose still looks a bit long, so I’m continuing to watch it. For now, I’m satisfied that the previously sharp nasal tip has been shaped into a rounder look~
