Nose Surgery Reviews

1-week review of revision rhinoplasty + crooked nose correction

It had been about 13 years since my first rhinoplasty, and as time passed, my nose looked much more crooked and felt like it had become much lower than before, so I decided to have revision rhinoplasty. This time, I didn’t just want a simple revision; I strongly wanted to improve my overall nose line so it would look a bit prettier and more defined. I found out about RU Plastic Surgery because a close friend of mine had surgery there, and her nose turned out really high-bridged and pretty. Since I had seen the result up close myself, I trusted them, and after my consultation, I decided to have my rhinoplasty done there as well. Through my consultation with Director Kim Hyun-joo, I proceeded with revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage and silicone, along with nasolabial angle correction + crooked nose correction + functional nose surgery. I originally had sinusitis as well, so I liked that I could improve not only the cosmetic aspects but also the functional aspects at the same time. It has now been about 1 week since surgery, so there is still some swelling left, but I already feel satisfied because from the side view, my nasal tip looks more defined and the line feels more refined. I’m still recovering, so I’m looking forward to it becoming more natural and pretty once more swelling goes down.
