Nose Surgery Reviews

Two months after bulbous nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage!!

Having a larger nose than other people was always stressful for me, and my complex was so severe that whenever I saw someone with a small nose, I didn’t even want to take photos together. Before going to the plastic surgery clinic, I had consultations at many places, but none of them gave me a detailed consultation explaining exactly how they would perform the surgery or what the surgical process would be like.. During the consultation at this clinic, I talked about my concerns with the consultant, and then had a consultation right away with Director Kim Hyun-joo. She explained one by one what needed to be done for me to get the nose I wanted, including the whole surgical process, and even showed me with photos, so I decided on this clinic. My nasal septum was completely deviated, and my rhinitis was also severe, so I had rhinitis surgery (correction of deviated septum) at the same time! Silicone was used for the nasal bridge, autologous costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip, and I also had alar reduction. Since my nasal tip was already on the higher side, I had a lot of worries about using autologous costal cartilage (because I was afraid it would become too high), but through the consultation, I actually came to think that I definitely needed to use autologous costal cartilage rather than worrying about it. After surgery, since it was my first cosmetic surgery, I was very worried and sent KakaoTalk messages to the consultant every day. I also wondered if I would have a lot of swelling, but the swelling was really minimal, and the bruising went away quickly too, so I returned to daily life sooner than I expected! The area where the costal cartilage was harvested started to feel a bit better from around day two? and I never once thought my nose was painful. First of all, the size, which had been my complex, has really become much smaller, so I’m completely satisfied, and the swelling in both the bridge and tip of my nose keeps going down, so these days I’m living with great satisfaction. Now I have absolutely no stress about my nostril wings when editing photos, and when I see my side profile, it’s exactly the nose I wanted, so my satisfaction is at the highest level!
