Eye Surgery Reviews

I had revision incisional ptosis correction and posterior/lower canthoplasty at ㅇㅇㅂ

I had double eyelid surgery once before at another plastic surgery clinic. My eyes did get bigger, but I often heard that I looked sleepy, and the double eyelid line also felt like it had become vaguely loosened, so I started looking into revision surgery and visited ㅇㅇㅂ. During the consultation, the director said that it wasn’t just about creating the line again, but that correcting the eye-opening strength through ptosis correction as well would make my overall impression noticeably different. Honestly, I thought I would only need to redo the double eyelid surgery, but since it was recommended, I thought it over and decided to have revision eye surgery with an incisional method and ptosis correction. They also said that if I did posterior canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty together, the horizontal length of my eyes would become longer and look more open, so I proceeded with those too.. haha As you can see from the photos, the space between my eyes was a bit wide. It has been about 3 months now, and I can definitely understand why people get ptosis correction. The eye-opening strength itself is different! The sleepy-looking impression has almost disappeared, and now my eyes actually look bright and alert. I also think it was a good decision to get posterior canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty haha It finally feels like the golden ratio of my eye length has been balanced, and because my eyes look more open, any contact lenses I wear suit me well.. That part is important when doing makeup, you know. I did consider just living with it, but I think it was a good decision to have revision surgery. They also preserved my semi-out line, so I like that my image didn’t change too drastically.
