I take a lot of photos, and every time I looked at them, the starting lines of my double eyelids were different on both sides, so my eyes looked uneven. It felt like the difference was getting bigger over time, so I decided to get a consultation and have surgery if needed, and went to Girin Plastic Surgery Clinic! I debated so much about whether to do it or not, but the director immediately pointed out the exact part I had been worried about! They marked the lines very meticulously and recommended an approach that wasn’t excessive, so I felt I could trust them and booked the surgery right away haha On the day of surgery, I checked the eye design one last time with the director and did a final check of the lines before going into the operating room. As soon as I was anesthetized, I passed out, and when I opened my eyes, it was already over.! I think about 1 hour had passed! Right after surgery, the pain wasn’t extremely bad, but since there was tightness, opening my eyes felt stiff and throbbing! It probably varies from person to person, but I had pretty severe bruising and swelling, so for 2-3 days I worked really hard on cold compresses and also applied eye ointment frequently. It’s been about 2 weeks since surgery, and people around me say my eyes look bigger and the lines are well-defined haha I think I’ll still need to watch it for about another month, but I’m glad I had the surgery~!
