Nose Surgery Reviews

1-month review after first nose surgery with donated rib cartilage to lengthen a short nose

My nose was low, but what stressed me out more than that was that it looked short. It also had a slightly upturned look, so from the front my nose had no presence, and from the side it looked short and low, so it looked flat. I wanted to add length while raising it into a natural straight-with-slight-curve line, so I had my first nose surgery using donated rib cartilage. I had it done at Vaimin Plastic Surgery, and I’m now 1 month post-op.

What I was most worried about before surgery was lengthening my short nose, but length was definitely added, and the upturned-looking feeling is gone. It rises naturally in a straight-with-slight-curve line, so the side profile looks clean too. From the front, my nose also looks a bit more defined, and I can really feel that the short, flat-looking impression has changed a lot.

It’s only been one month, but if it already looks like this, I’m looking forward to it improving more as the minor swelling goes down. I hope this is helpful for everyone who is worried about having a short nose.
