It’s been about a month and a half since my revision rhinoplasty, so I’m leaving a review while watching the swelling go down lol
I had my first surgery 3 years ago. I had silicone inserted, and my nasal tip was done with ear cartilage. But as time passed, my nasal tip gradually became blunt, and when light shone on it, the silicone even started to show through, so I seriously felt like I was going crazyㅠㅠ
So this time, I had revision surgery using donated costal cartilage. I looked for places specializing only in noses and went to about 5 consultations, I think. They all said similar things, but one place in particular explained the condition of my nose very specifically, so I decided to go there.
Right after surgery, the swelling was much worse than during my first nose surgery, so I wondered if something had gone wrong lol But after 2 weeks, it went down a lot. Now the nasal tip has come down really naturally, and the line looks completely different from the side.
When I touch the nasal tip, it still feels hard, and the sensation is a bit dull, but they said this will get better with time, so I’m waiting. If there are people who are considering revision surgery because their first nose surgery went badly, I recommend going to lots of consultations at least. I also realized while going to consultations that the differences are really huge;;
