I finally got the cheekbone surgery that had felt like a lifelong assignment at ㅇㅇㄷ I was stressed because my side cheekbones stuck out on both sides, making my face look much wider than it actually was in person Every time I looked in the mirror, my cheekbones looked uneven, and if the lighting was even a little strange, my facial asymmetry looked really severe in photos, so I pretty much couldn’t tie my hair up and only wore it down
But after the surgery, the best thing is that I no longer have limits on my hairstyles During the consultation, I asked them to make my face as symmetrical as possible, and I really emphasized that I wanted the horizontal width reduced haha The director said he completely understood what I meant, and the surgery turned out just the way I wanted After the surgery, I was really serious about managing the swelling, you know? Honestly, the clinic already had a pretty well-organized postoperative care system, so that alone would have been enough, but because I wanted the swelling to go down even a little faster, I drank swelling-reduction tea every day haha
After all the swelling had gone down, the first thing I did was book a hair salon appointment lol I got layered hair and a perm too, and it was the best mood-lifter. My mom said I looked like a different person My mood itself feels different, and every time I look in the mirror I feel satisfied, so I think my confidence has gone up too I worried a lot because of both the cost and the extent of the surgery, but I feel like it was worth thinking it through carefully, choosing the clinic well, and getting the surgery haha
If there are people who are struggling a lot with side cheekbones like I did, I recommend not rushing, thinking it over a lot, researching clinics carefully, and then getting the surgery!!
