My mom is in her late 50s, and last year she had under-eye fat repositioning and a forehead lift. If it’s been 6 months, that means it’s pretty much settled now, right?? My mom’s eyes looked a bit heavy, and her forehead was narrow too, so overall her impression felt a little stuffy. I think my mom had been constantly conscious of that and saw it as something like a complex. On top of that, my mom has deep-set eyes, so as she got older and things gradually sagged, her eyes looked even more sunken,, hollow-looking,.. My mom is originally the scared type, so she never even thought about surgery,, but when she heard about her friends getting plastic surgery and becoming prettier, I guess she was secretly envious,, I could tell lol So in the end, I took my scaredy-cat mom with me and she ended up getting surgery.. lol When we had the hospital consultation, they said her double eyelid line was already well formed, so there was no need to touch it unnecessarily, and that it would be better to raise the eyebrow position with a forehead lift. Also, her under-eyes already had some hollowness, and she had a complex about that area too. So she ended up getting under-eye fat repositioning as well. After the surgery, since she had a forehead lift, the swelling was pretty significant. But after one month, then two months, it gradually became more natural. (Amazing..) As her eyebrow position lifted, her eyes looked clearer, and the impression that used to look stuffy became much softer and more refined! It’s been about 6 months now, and it’s definitely much more natural than it was at 2 months. It’s kind of amazing because it has that “younger without looking obvious” feeling that my mom wanted lololol I heard that people in their 50s often get lower blepharoplasty rather than under-eye fat repositioning, but the director looked at my mom’s eye condition and said repositioning was possible, so we went with that. I was also worried the forehead lift might change her too much, but I really think it turned out naturally and well. My mom’s satisfaction is pretty high, so watching from the side, the result seems good, but I’m curious whether, at 6 months, it’s okay to consider it almost fully settled now!!
