Nose Surgery Reviews

Revision surgery after 20 years because I developed contracture after surgery with L-shaped silicone

Just like the title says, I had surgery 20 years ago using L-shaped silicone, but I developed contracture, so I had revision surgery. I’m now over 6 months post-op!! As you can see from the photos, my nasal bridge was very crooked, and the silicone was way too obvious,,, On top of that, I developed contracture, so my nose became shorter and upturned, and my nostrils were uneven too, so I was really stressed about my appearance. Because it was contracture, surgery was unavoidable, but I didn’t want to have a third surgery So I searched very carefully for a clinic, thinking this would be my last surgery. Even looking back now, I think I really chose the clinic well. Anyone around the same number of months post-op as me would know You’ve already adapted to your new nose and are living fine, right? But in the early period after surgery, even a slight tingling sensation made me unnecessarily scared. Each time, communication with the consultant was good, there was a 24-hour emergency call system, and especially because the director checked every follow-up, I felt reassured and was able to spend my recovery period comfortably. Still, what I’m most satisfied with is that my nose is so pretty I like a glamorous style, so I told the director to bring out that feel, and I’m so satisfied because I think it came out exactly at the angle I wanted. Before the revision, I really hated even looking in the mirror and was struggling emotionally, but now I wonder why I hesitated instead of getting surgery sooner and living prettily with a new nose I know revision surgery for a contracted nose is a difficult operation, but everyone, there is still hope!!! Don’t feel too discouraged. I hope my review helps.
