It's almost been 4 years. I had tip plasty, alar reduction, and columella lowering, and the cartilage used was autologous ear cartilage. Thinking back now, I wonder if it's normal for anesthesia to wear off during surgery..? At that time, while cutting my nose and harvesting ear cartilage behind my ear, the anesthesia wore off so I heard all of that sound during the surgery;; At first there was none, but now the left side of my nostril has flattened and sunk in. I'm looking into revision surgery. They didn't really provide much aftercare. Just a prescription for medicine. Considering how much I spent, I'm not very satisfied. The part where they harvested ear cartilage made my ear stick closer to my face. From the front, the position of the ear looks different. If I could go back, I don't think I would use ear cartilage.
