I kept being bothered by how my side profile looked uneven because of my hump nose, so I had rhinoplasty with costal cartilage. From the front, my nose wasn’t particularly low, but from the side, the line looked interrupted, so I felt disappointed every time I took photos I had the surgery with Director Lee Gi-jin at ID Hospital, and he said that rather than simply raising the nasal bridge, the hump needed to be osteotomized and the nasal tip corrected together for the line to connect naturally. I think that part made the most sense to me! Now that I look at it, my side profile is much smoother, and the bulbous-looking, spread-out feel has improved a lot, so overall my impression looks cleaner. The nasal tip has also been refined, and it’s exactly the degree I wanted without looking excessive, so I’m satisfied so far
