Nose Surgery Reviews

I had functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty and my mouth breathing improved

The center of my face looked blunt and spread out, so I always looked dull. From between my eyebrows to my nasal bridge, everything was flat, so there was no three-dimensional definition. On top of that, I usually couldn’t breathe well through my nose. Since I slept with my mouth open, my throat stung every morning. When I looked into it, I heard that the hospital was good at functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. When I went, the director first explained the functional aspects to me. While looking at the CT scan, he pointed out only the exact blocked areas inside my nose. For the cosmetic side, we planned to reduce the nostril width and raise the nasal bridge. At first, it felt stuffy because of the cotton packing, but after a few days it became manageable. Now breathing through my nose has become really comfortable. As the swelling went down, the nasal line became cleaner. The spread-out nasal tip shape also became sharper. Overall, there has definitely been a change in my side profile. Since it’s a male nose, I didn’t want anything flashy, and it turned out naturally. It’s nice that both the functional discomfort and the appearance were improved.
