Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Slight legwork for a bulbous nose + surgery review

I think my natural nose was not terribly bad, yeah. But because of the bulbous nose, it looked like both nostrils were flared open, and it tended to look somewhat puffy. Especially if I ate late-night snacks the day before and slept, my face swells easily, and my nose would become twice its size… Honestly, should I get filler or not… should I get a nose lift or not… I thought about it more than a hundred times, but I kept feeling like I was leaning toward the easy and quick option, so after reading through this community thoroughly once, I made up my mind to get nose surgery. There really is nothing as effective and dramatic as having surgery with an open approach, yeah.

I did not go around to many clinics in person. I went to exactly 3 places, but I was the type who had done a ton of online research for a long time, so I was able to finish the in-person consultations quickly. Since my complex about my nose had lasted my whole life, well… I think I looked into surgeries or procedures whenever I had a spare moment. Counting it like “it has been several years since I started researching” would be meaningless. For real, I searched whenever I had time lol.

At the first clinic, they recommended bulbous nose correction and nostril reduction, and for materials they mentioned silicone + donated costal cartilage + septal cartilage. The consultation was fine, and overall the waiting time and the consultation with the consultant were not bad either. Also, the director recommended 4 mm silicone, but said going higher would be difficult because of skin laxity. Still, they said my skin thickness was okay, so if I got that combination, it would probably be fine.

For the second clinic, I had seen reviews saying the hard-sell for Innofit was… pretty intense, so I had prepared myself to some extent, but the consultant and director kept listing the advantages of Innofit, saying that if I was doing it anyway, a customized one would be better, that the chance of inflammation would be lower, and so on and so forth… I knew that going in, but the review photos were so my style that I went there, so it was disappointing. But since I was getting it on installment with the money I earned from part-time work lol, this place was way too expensive, so I passed.

The third clinic gave me an estimate similar to the first clinic. In the reviews, opinions were split between “the director is rude” and “it was good because they spoke directly and realistically,” but for me it was the former. I am a capital F in MBTI, but I do like a certain level of realism too (especially with surgery, I think you have to be realistic)…. They were just too careless. I would rather they had lectured me, honestly…;; I don’t know if they had surgery or what, but they came in still wearing their cap, looked at me quickly, and left. They drew on the photo and showed me the design vibe, and I did like that, yeah.

In the end, I got surgery at the first clinic, which had been smooth without any particular issues, and it is already my third month. I like it, so I’m posting a review. I did not really bring any photos, and I just clearly communicated the parts I wanted improved from my own nose. Everyone, before going to a consultation, it is important to know your nose well. If you meet a director with good aesthetic sense and strong skills, of course things can turn out well no matter what, but just in case, I think the more detailed you are about what shape your nose is, what your skin tissue is like, how much you want the nose projected or reduced, how much height you want, and so on, the better. And I think this surgery turned out satisfying because of accurate self-objectification + the director’s aesthetic sense and skill. I hope everyone can use this as a reference.

After surgery, I had all of it: stuffiness, difficulty breathing, a sore throat, everything. But no one gets surgery without knowing it might hurt, right? I figured I just had to endure it… and in reality, I endured it just fine, yeah. But honestly, even saying I “endured” it is kind of funny… It depends on the person, but it was not that serious… lol. Just be careful not to bump your nose after nose surgery. Before it stabilizes, even a little irritation can make it bend… I really did not want to irritate it, so even when I had to laugh, I held my cheekbones with my hands while laughing lololol.

Anyway, to wrap it up, I think surgery is better than procedures, and for the result to come out satisfying, I think thorough self-objectification is essential.
