Nose Surgery Reviews

Autologous Costal Cartilage Short Nose Rhinoplasty, Week 2

Before surgery, the things that stressed me out the most were my short nose, the fact that my nostrils were very visible from the front, and the severe left-right asymmetry! I first found out about RU Plastic Surgery through an influencer on Instagram, and afterward, as I looked up reviews and before-and-after photos, I naturally got the impression that it was a hospital that did good, natural-looking work! When I went for the consultation, Director Kim Hyun-joo explained everything with great confidence and certainty, so I felt I could trust her, and I booked the surgery right away haha I had rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage, along with correction of my short nose, lowering of the columella, and rhinitis surgery (deviated septum and inferior turbinate) at the same time. During the consultation, they clearly explained the condition of my nose and the direction for improvement, so it was easy to understand, and they also explained in detail how the procedure would be carried out. The recovery process after surgery probably differs from person to person, but for me, the swelling was not as bad as I expected, and the incision line under my nose was not very noticeable, which was nice! Most of all, my short nose has definitely improved, and the nostrils that used to show from the front are now naturally covered, so I think my overall impression looks much softer~ My boyfriend had originally been against rhinoplasty, but when he actually saw the result, he was surprised and said it looked very natural, that my image had not changed drastically, and that only the shape of my nose had become prettier. He was so satisfied that he even said the director was truly amazing🙂 Since I’m still used to seeing my nostrils showing, it feels slightly unfamiliar, but overall the line looks natural and came out beautifully, so I’m generally satisfied^^
