Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

A 100% real review of my nth revision rhinoplasty.. Thank you so much to the director at Limited..

Please excuse the slightly long post.. I’m writing this with all sincerity, hoping it can be even a little helpful to people who, like me, are struggling day by day because of rhinoplasty..

Haha, this is completely 100% paid for with my own money, and I’m writing this real, honest review with no conditions at all, simply because I’m so grateful to the director. Truly. (Would you believe me more if I cursed a bit..?)

They really don’t advertise much.. there aren’t many reviews either.. and with other clinics, from what I know, the photos they upload are Photoshopped and made to look as pretty as possible somehow… but this place really doesn’t do that at all..;; Of course, my photos are absolutely not Photoshopped either. Other than the stickers, I didn’t touch them at all!!

First of all, of course, I’m only on day 7 right now, but those who have had multiple revision rhinoplasties honestly know as soon as the splint first comes off, right?

It hasn’t even been a few months yet, but I’m just so grateful that I wanted to write this quickly. I plan to write updates at one month and six months too. I have a job where how I appear on screen is very important.

Even so, I’m writing because I’m so grateful. Of course, I might suddenly take the photos down.. Anyway, it was truly a long journey. It’s almost like I threw away 10 years of my life.. Even now, just thinking that I lost the time of my pretty twenties makes me feel so distressed..

Anyway,, to get to the conclusion.

For the first time, I felt, ‘Ah.. I’m finally graduating….’

It was exactly the nose shape I had communicated with the director about.

Everyone… this is important from here on..

The ‘consultation’ is extremely important.

Please.. don’t just explain things by intuition.

Don’t say you’ll leave the aesthetic sense up to the director. Especially those having revision surgery. Study your own face and overall nose information thoroughly before you go..

If you have surgery like that and then don’t like it, you’ll blame the clinic that did it and go looking somewhere else again, right!!

I also thought I had worried enough and explained things well during my 2nd and 3rd surgeries, but when I looked back later, I realized I had been so foolish and lacking. So I absolutely don’t blame the directors.. It’s my fault, no matter whatㅜㅜ

Put your whole heart into thinking, comparing, and analyzing, then think about all sorts of things again the next day, and think in detail! Properly! That’s what I mean ㅠㅠㅠㅠ (Past me…..!!!!!)

When I went around for consultations, I kept thinking about why I had failed until now. Honestly, this time too, if it failed again, I had even thought I might have to give up my job..

That’s how desperate I was, and every day I ran through every comprehensive simulation I could possibly experience. Because my life was at stake..

Everyone feels that way, right..ㅜ

Anyway, for me, the place where communication matched best was Director Kim Gwirak.

I’m so grateful to Director Kim Gwirak.. Before booking, I had a total of two consultations, and on the surgery day, I had almost an hour of consultation.. until our opinions matched 100 percent. We even discussed the nasal tip height together to that extent.

The director probably thought I was a very sensitive patient because I explained every single thing in such detail. And the nose I wanted was extremely clear. So I could feel that he paid even more attention to me..

When the director thought something was absolutely not right, or if it was too different from his own opinion, he clearly told me, ‘It doesn’t match.’ That made me trust him more.

As we discussed things together, I kept thinking, how can a doctor listen this closely to what a patient says..

I was also so worried that this might accidentally make me look rude.. but Director Kim Gwirak wasn’t like that at all.. Rather, I was so grateful for how he tried not to miss anything I said..

Of course, at the first consultation, besides the fact that our conversation and aesthetic sense matched well, there was still something a bit uncertain! That’s why I went for a second consultation!

And this is the first time I’ve seen a nasal scar incision line done this cleanly. The scar actually looks less visible than before surgery. It’s truly fascinating.. Also, my face itself is a bit crooked, so it’s hard to align the nose too, and until now, the surgeries always ended up making it crooked.. But this time, Director Kim Gwirak corrected it perfectly..? Anyway, it’s seriously amazing.

I really don’t want to compare him with my previous doctors.. But honestly, when I think about it carefully, the other directors who operated on me before definitely did not do this much. Some things were missed, some things were right, and well… I don’t even know what’s what.. They were all extremely famous doctors known as rhinoplasty specialists too lol

They just.. wanted the patient to leave the room quickly. When I felt that uneasy feeling, I should have stopped there. I still regret it so much..

This too is my fault. My fault for choosing the wrong clinic. And my fault for not studying enough before going. So this time, I visited a total of 20 places and did the legwork..

Of course, I don’t think every person who had surgery at Limited was 100 percent satisfied like me. That’s the same with every other clinic too. The nose you want.. overall harmony, etc. Honestly, there are many things you only realize and regret after actually having surgery, like, I should have said it this way later..

That’s why I think that unless your surgical luck is very good, the patient absolutely has to know well for themselves.

Because I wanted a nose that was the ultimate in naturalness, I thought ‘the safety of the materials themselves’ had to be a basic requirement. Especially because this was my third-plus revision surgery, I was even more cautious, and I wanted a nose that would be safe in my body even years later. Even if the nose might droop.

It was a choice to reduce the chance of side effects as much as possible, even by a small probability. For reference, I used 2.5 mm Megaderm for the nasal bridge, and autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. (In previous surgeries, I had already experienced a very wide variety of things… There are reasons why I chose a low Megaderm, and why I chose these materials.. If I explain this.. the post might become twice as longㅜㅜ)

I judged other materials besides these to be inappropriate. Considering my aesthetic sense and the atmosphere I wanted, I felt this method was the most suitable.

Especially those with a long midface like me!! If you match the aesthetic with a nose that is too short, it will go badly. There are almost no doctors who can balance that well.

And also, avoid doing things like custom 3D nasal bridge stuff if possible. I do have one acquaintance who did that and is satisfied, but first of all, those having revision surgery!! You should not go down a path that creates even a small chance of failure. During surgery, it is correct for the nasal bridge to be built later. In other words, the nasal tip should be matched first, and then the bridge should be done for it to be right.

And the latest techniques?? Materials?? Those having revision surgery, please don’t use them unless you really have to.. ㅜㅜ Focus only on techniques and materials that have been used for a long time and have sufficient research results!!! Got it???!!!!

And for reference, because I’m someone who wants an extremely natural look,

my aesthetic standards may be very different from those of people who don’t feel that my noses before this revision surgery looked that strange. It wasn’t inflammation or side effects like that; I had revision surgery purely because I was dissatisfied with the shape, so I think this post may help people in that regard. I truly hope it helps..

There are definitely directors who listen carefully like Director Kim Gwirak. Please go to lots and lots of consultations!!!

(The photos are not Photoshopped at all. I only put stickers on~~!!)
